Hi! Thank you for allowing me back into your inbox. Sorry to have left you to your own devices, with not a peep from me, for the entire month March! The paradox of enjoying my job is that I don’t seek out my creative escape (this newsletter) with the same attentiveness and discipline. Lucky for me, feeling fulfilled. Unlucky for you, getting neglected.
Nevertheless, I am back. I am about to turn 26. and I am SHOPPING.
I am wary of making anything a “series” because I am known to name them cleverly and then abandon them… but this is one I know I can do because I love to catalogue and I love an alliteration. Therefore, on the first Wednesday of every month, you can expect a delivery of my latest wants.

Another thing I want: a place to write.
I am a really good writer, but I am also really good at finding reasons to put off writing. I’ve been working on multiple essays for multiple weeks, starting and stopping more frequently than I care to admit.
So I’ve started a writing group with a simple premise: we meet at a coffee shop, everyone works on their own thing, and then we go home. Maybe you’re working on a long think piece. Maybe you’re online shopping for research’s sake. Maybe you just need to sit somewhere, next to people doing what they said they would do, and write the thing you’ve been meaning to write.
